    Room C17- Second Grade! 
    Welcome! My name is Christina McBlane and this is my 22nd year teaching. I began my career teaching 4th grade at Knox Elementary, and then moving on to teach second grade at Weinberg Elementary for 18 years.  When Weinberg became a gifted academy, I moved here to Rice Elementary School, and this will be my 4th year here. This will be my 22nd year of teaching in total. I graduated from Arizona State University with a bachelors in education and a minor in early childhood education.  I love the Rice community and grew up in the Chandler and Queen Creek areas. I love that I have had the opportunity to teach whole families of siblings, and love that I have had that opportunity to make such great connections!   My goal is to create a fun, safe, and successful atmosphere for every child.  Each year brings so much excitement as I get to see a whole new set of wonderful students grow and learn.
