Welcome to 5th grade! I’m so excited to be a part of this learning community!
My Education and Professional Background
I graduated from the University of Arizona in 1997 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in elementary education. I taught kindergarten for 5 years (and loved it), then moved to upper elementary where I taught a multiage 5/6 class for 8 years before spending the last four years in a 6th grade ELA/SS classroom.
My Educational Philosophy
I believe that all students have the capacity to learn great things. Our greatest success as educators is to find the best way for them to do that in the short time that we spend with them.
