    Welcome to 2nd grade! I am so excited to be your child's teacher for the 2023-2024 school year. We are going to have a successful year!

    My Education and Professional Background

    I earned a Masters Degree in Elementary Education at Cambridge College in Massachusetts.  I taught both Kindergarten and 2nd grade over a period of 7 years.  During that time I was trained and taught Spalding for 3 years. I then stayed home to raise my 3 boys who are now 10, 9, and 7.  They all attend school in CUSD!  I am beyond excited to be back in the classroom, since that is always where my heart has been.

    My Educational Philosophy

    It has always been my belief that every child is unique in both their personalities and academic strengths. I guide my instruction to meet them where they are at both academically and socially. I strive to make sure that every child feels valued and confident in my classroom. It is so important that we (students and myself) create an environment where children feel safe, independent, and cared for.
