My Educational Philosophy

As a mother and educator, I understand what it means to want the best for our children. I recognize that we are individuals and learn in many ways. I want every student to know they are valued and feel welcomed when they are in my classroom. Expectations are clear and I like my students to come to class focused and engaged. I encourage students to set goals and work hard toward achieving their goals. When they walk into my classroom, they are ready to learn. I will guide and motivate students through their academic journey to become adept problem solvers and flexible thinkers by providing cooperative learning opportunities and empowering them to develop self-confidence while fostering independent thinking skills.
