Welcome to third grade! My name is Jennifer Sarpy, and I’m thrilled to be your teacher this year! My goal is for all of us to work together in order to make this a very successful year for your student. Parents/Guardians, you are the most important people in your student’s life, and your support will greatly impact their success throughout the school year. I look forward to all that we get to accomplish together. :-)
My Education and Professional Background
I graduated from Mayville State University in 2004 with a bachelors degree in Elementary Education. I have taught in Arizona schools for 6 years with experience in fifth, sixth and seventh grade.
My Educational Philosophy
My philosophy is to create a fun, safe, learning environment where each child develops a love for learning by feeling comfortable asking questions, taking risks, not afraid of making mistakes and feeding their curiosity. As an educator my goal is to make a difference in each child's life and prepare them for their future as they could one day change the world.
