    Welcome!

    Welcome! My name is Shannon Van De Beuken and I am very excited to be your child's first grade CTA teacher. I am originally from Ohio but have lived in Arizona since 1995. I have two amazing children, Tyler and Maddie, that both attended CUSD all through elementary school.

    My Education and Professional Background

    I earned a bachelors degree in broadcast journalism from Arizona State University and went on to earn my Masters degree in Elementary Education from the University of Phoenix.

    My Educational Philosophy

    I absolutely love teaching, especially first graders! I believe that the best classrooms are those with an informed and loving teacher, curious students, supportive parents and administrators, and a safe learning environment.
