    Welcome!

    Welcome Kindergarten Families to Shumway Leadership Academy. My name is Tiffany Guerra and I will be your child's teacher this school year. I am excited to watch your child develop their love for learning and gain important foundational skills that will follow them in their years to come here at Shumway.

    My Education and Professional Background

    I graduated from Purdue University in Indiana with a Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education and a minor in Child Psychology. I taught Preschool for 2 years and Kindergarten for 6 years in Indiana. I have been teaching Kindergarten in Arizona since 2020. I am currently pursing my master's degree in Psychology from Grand Canyon University. 

    My Educational Philosophy

    My educational philosophy is to teach developmentally appropriate curriculum and lessons to your child. I believe that all students have a love for learning and it is up to me to unlock it. I feel that is important to teach the whole child and to meet their social emotional needs as well as their academic needs.
