    Welcome!

    Hello! My name is Jamie Rea and this is my 10th year working at Shumway Leadership Academy. I am the special education team lead and the behavior specialist for the campus. I work with all students providing specially designed instruction and positive reinforcement.

    My Education and Professional Background


    I graduated from ASU in 2013 with a dual major in elementary education and special education. I started my career teaching 3rd grade and made the move to special education in year three. I will graduate with my Masters in Special Education Applied Behavior Analysis in December of 2022. 

    My Educational Philosophy

    I believe that each child is a unique individual who needs a secure, caring, and stimulating atmosphere in which to grow and mature emotionally, intellectually, physically, and socially.
