    Welcome to my page! My name is Ms. Pompa and I am Shumway's 2nd and 3rd grade resource teacher.

    My Education and Professional Background

    I am originally from New York and studied early childhood education and childhood education with a concentration in human development at SUNY Geneseo. I continued my education the following summer and became certified to teach special education. I also have an SEI endorsement and I am currently working towards my masters in reading and literacy. 

    This is my second year working at Shumway and I am looking forward to another great year!

    I believe that all students learn best in a place where they feel safe, welcomed, supported and loved!
