    Welcome to Shumway Leadership Academy Pre-Kindergarten! I am excited to work with you as your child begins their academic journey. Our Pre-K program is an opportunity to grow socially, emotionally, physically and intellectually. I am looking forward to working with you and your child so that we can provide them the best experience possible.

    My Education and Professional Background

    This is my tenth year at Shumway Leadership Academy and I am excited to return to our amazing Pre-K program. I have a Bachelor of Science degree in Secondary Education and a Post Baccalaureate degree in Early Childhood.  

    My Educational Philosophy

    I believe that each child is unique with different needs and learning styles. I also believe that every child is capable of learning and succeeding in life. My goal is to create not only a safe and positive learning environment that fosters a love of learning and success, but also a place where your child will feel loved and valued.
