    Welcome!

    Hello! I am the preschool Speech-Language Pathologist at Shumway. Providing fun, engaging, child-led speech therapy is one my greatest passions. I aim to provide speech-language therapy with a neurodiversity-affirming approach by seeking to fully learn and understand each student’s individual interests, strengths, and needs in order to build relationship and best support them in developing their functional communication skills.

    My Education and Professional Background

    I graduated from Northern Arizona University in 2016 with a Bachelor of Science in Speech-Language Sciences and Technology. I continued my education at Arizona State University where I received my Master of Science in Communication Disorders in 2019. I have worked with clients ranging in age from infancy to adulthood in a variety of settings. However, preschool has been my favorite population to work with so far. I enjoy supporting students and families during their first experience with education.
