    Welcome to Mr. English's Social Studies! This year we will be exploring the workings of the US government, basic economic theory, human rights, and social movements.

    My Educational Philosophy

    Having an education means a student is prepared academically, socially, and cognitively for the next stage of their life. This preparation includes practice and mastery of skills common to all areas of study: communication, critical thinking, and analysis. As a teacher, it is my responsibility to teach all students in my classroom and to do so fairly. It is my duty to plan, prepare, monitor, and assess learning outcomes while maintaining a positive, physically and socially safe, and engaging environment.
