    My Education and Professional Background

    I was born and raised in Tucson, Arizona and graduated from the University of Arizona with a Bachelor's of Art in Elementary Education and a minor in German. Over the past 20 years, I have been fortunate enough to live and teach in Texas, California, Arizona, and Oklahoma. I have taught a variety of subjects and grade levels over my years. I have a passion for history and cannot wait to share my excitement with my students!

    My Educational Philosophy

    I love to challenge my students to raise their personal expectations and experience success. When students feel successful, it can build a confidence that lasts a lifetime. I hope to be part of a learning community where everyone is encouraging and everyone feels safe to take risks.
