     Q What type of school focus does Auxier Elementary School have?
     A Auxier Elementary is a dual CTA/Classic site and we are a Leader in Me Lighthouse School.
     Q  What are the school's hours?
     A  Students attend school from 8:40 am to 3:10 pm.
     Q  What is the dress code?
    A  Monday through Thursday is a prescribed uniform dress, and Friday CUSD dress. 
     Q  What are the school colors?
     A Auxier's school colors are red, white, blue, and black (the fourth color was chosen by students).
     Q   What is the school's mascot?
     A We are the Auxier Aviators.

     Q Is Gifted/CATS offered at Auxier?
     A Parents continue to have three options for gifted services in C.U.S.D., 1.) Knox Gifted Academy with bus transportation from each of our schools 2.) gifted satellite sites at Jacobson, Ryan and Santan Elementary Schools 3.) cluster gifted groupings at home school.
     Q When is Open Enrollment be available?
     A Check our Open Enrollment page for details about when Open Enrollment is held. Open enrollments must be completed each school year.
     Q What is the progression of schools for Auxier Elementary?
     A Students in the Auxier boundary will attend Casteel High School (7th through 12th grades); however, C.U.S.D.'s Choice option includes any junior high school or high school as well as ACP Oakland or ACP Erie.
     Q  Is busing provided to Auxier Elementary?
     A Yes, if you reside outside one (1) mile from the school or across a busy intersection busing is provided.
     Q How will Band and Orchestra be incorporated?
     A Band and Orchestra classes are offered for 5th and 6th grade students and are held during the school day as a part of the block schedule.
