Welcome to Knox Gifted Academy! I am honored to serve our families and staff as the Principal.
My Education and Professional Background
As an educational leader, I have grown tremendously since I began my career in 2001. My love for education continues to flourish and my passion for student success and development drives my every decision. Joining Knox Gifted Academy in 2013 has been a unique opportunity that continues to inspire me. My education and unique experiences as a teacher, master teacher, team leader, Cognitive Coach, Curriculum Developer, Technology Specialist, Summer Learning Coordinator, and Dean of Students have prepared me well to be a valuable asset at Knox Gifted Academy.
My Educational Philosophy
I am an authentic leader and professional educator by choice to serve students that deserve nothing less than my best. I believe in cultivating transparent and meaningful relationships with all stakeholders, and earnestly seek to provide an equitable environment where all students' needs are met academically, socially, and emotionally.
