    Welcome!

    I am so excited for another year at KGA as your Drama Teacher. I feel so lucky to work with such creative and thoughtful students every day. When I’m not teaching, I enjoy spending time with my daughter, Taylor. I also enjoy playing piano, singing, acting, running and playing tennis.

    My Education and Professional Background

    I earned a B.A. in Piano Performance from Westmont College in Santa Barbara, CA and an M.Ed in Curriculum and Instruction from NAU. I have completed Levels I and II of Orff Training at ASU and studied Method Acting, Strasberg Sensory, Meisner, Shakespeare and Improv at Arizona Actor's Academy. I have been teaching in Chandler since 1999 and joined the KGA family in 2014.

    My Educational Philosophy

    I believe we are all artists. The way we choose to treat others, spend our time and express ourselves creates a picture for the world to see. My hope is to give students the freedom to explore and express who they truly are through the beauty of acting, music and movement. We then discover the amazing masterpiece inherent in each child!
