    Welcome!

    Welcome to second grade! My name is Katelyn Studioso and I am thrilled to get to work with you and your child. I am originally from Seattle Washington, but moved to Arizona in 2019.

    My Education and Professional Background

    I graduated Summa Cum Laude with a BA in Elementary Education from Arizona State University in 2022. I also student taught at KGA in 1st grade while I was in college. I started my teaching career here at Knox and I could not imagine teaching anywhere else. This will be my second year teaching.

    My Educational Philosophy

     I believe that every child is unique and we must build relationships with each and every student to ensure we are meeting their needs. It is important to create a classroom environment where students feel safe and welcomed to be their true selves while being respected. I encourage a growth mindset where students can push themselves beyond their own expectations.
