    Welcome!

    Welcome to 1st grade! I am from Gilbert, Arizona. I've been married for 17 years to my wonderful husband and we have four amazing children, Brooke 16 years old, Zac 13 years old, Abigail 11 years old, and Gavin 9 years old. In my free time I like to spend time with my family, read books, and watch my kids dance and play baseball. First grade is a huge year of learning and growth for your child and I am thrilled to be apart of it!

    My Education and Professional Background

    I graduated with my Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education from Northern Arizona University in 2017. I have been teaching for the last 5 years at a charter school in Mesa. I have taught 1st and 2nd grade and love them both!

    My Educational Philosophy

    I believe that the classroom should be a comfortable, safe, and caring learning environment. Every child deserves to be valued and respected while learning and growing. With high expectations, support, and teamwork it is my goal that every student reaches his/her full potential.
