About
Wilkie...
Welcome to the 2021-2022 school year! My name is Mrs. Wilkie and this is my 13th year teaching junior high school science. I will be teaching 7th grade science this year at ACP Middle School. I am very passionate about science and am very excited to join the Knights this year.
My Education and Professional Background
I received my bachelors of science in education from Central Michigan University in 2007 and entered the teaching profession by becoming the Director of Education at Sylvan Learning Center, then I taught preschool for one year. In 2009 I moved my family from Michigan to Arizona to accept a middle school science teaching position for a charter school where I stayed for eleven years.
My Educational Philosophy
I love teaching junior high students! I believe that all students are capable of success! The most important part of being an educator is building relationships with students, which allows them to thrive in an academic environment.
