    Welcome!

    I have been a Knight since 2011. I am proud to be a part of such a successful school, district, and community. I teach Yoga and Physical Education. Students in my classes can expect to work hard and learn a lot of important life lessons.

    My Education and Professional Background

    I graduated from the University of Arizona with a Bachelor's degree in Spanish in 1993. While attending U of A, I was a four-year scholarship athlete on the volleyball team. Three years after my undergraduate degree, I earned my Master's degree in Teaching and Teacher Education from U of A. My teaching career began in 1993 in Tucson, where I taught Spanish and Language Arts in the Tucson Unified School District. Since then, I have taught English, Spanish, and ESL to students ranging from toddlers to grandparents. I have been practicing yoga since 2000 and I love to share its benefits with others.

    My Educational Philosophy

    My goal as a teacher and coach is to provide opportunities for students and athletes to become their best.
