    Welcome to 7th Grade ELA here at ACP Middle School. I am excited to guide you through your journey this year.

    My Education and Professional Background

    My higher education started in Big Rapids, MI, where I received a degree in Public Relations and Legal Studies from Ferris State University. From there, everything I did turned into teaching, and I made the career switch. I completed my teaching degree and certificate with a major in secondary ELA and a minor in secondary Biology from Eastern Michigan University.  

    I moved down to Arizona from Michigan about 8 years ago and have been teaching ELA for the past five years. 

    My Educational Philosophy

    As a guide through this quest called education, I give all students the tools and skills necessary to be confident in pursuing knowledge far beyond my classroom.
