    Welcome!

    Welcome, my wonderful students! I am excited to be teaching 7th grade social studies this year at ACP. I enjoy working with junior high students, I love the energy and enthusiasm you all bring into the classroom. I am looking forward to a great year with much learning and growth!

    My Education and Professional Background

    I graduated from Arizona State University with a BAE in secondary education and an emphasis in history. I am dual certified in Spanish and History. I have taught Spanish to students in grades 7th- 12th. 

    My Educational Philosophy

    I strongly feel that the social and emotional development of students is of utmost importance and that good content mastery can only happen when children feel safe in the classroom.  I work to ensure my classroom is a safe space for sharing feelings and allowing students to be themselves.
