    Welcome to kindergarten. This year will be filled with learning, fun, success, and friendships. Kindergarten is such an important year, as it sets the foundation for a love of learning!
    I’m looking forward to meeting you and your child. Thank you in advance for all the support in making this a wonderful year!

    My Education and Professional Background

    I graduated from the University of Central Florida with a BS in Early Childhood Education as well as a K-8 teaching certificate. I have taught kindergarten, 1st grade and 4th grade. I started my teaching career in 2000 at Jane D. Hull Elementary and began my Master's program through NAU in Curriculum and Instruction. This will be my 4th year teaching at Basha Elementary. 

    My Educational Philosophy

    I believe that all children are unique and must be given and educational environment where they can grow physically, mentally, emotionally and socially. I will provide a safe, caring community where children can meet their full potential and students are invited to share their ideas and take risks.

    I had the opportunity for two years to be a site sub here at Basha Elementary where I was exposed to all the grade levels and different classrooms. I was highly impressed with the dedication I witnessed all teachers putting into their students and school. I chose this school for my own daughter as well, knowing she would be in excellent care. The administration and faculty are wonderful and part of the very best school in CUSD!
