• Want to be a club officer? 

    Answer honestly the following questions: 

    Can you meet for short, additional meetings throughout the year to help organize smaller events within the club?  

    Can you be at almost every meeting? 

    Are you comfortable talking in front of your peers, and will you be able to do duties such as attendance and run meetings? 

     

    If you answered, "yes" to all these questions, then you could consider running for an officer position. 

     

    CCU Officer Duties: 

    President/or co-president: (We didn't have a vice-president last year.) 

    Be able to answer yes to all the questions above. 

    Run the meetings and fill in the paperwork for the meetings. 

     

    Secretary: 

    Be able to answer yes to all the questions above. 

    Take accurate attendance during meetings. 

     

    Giving your speech: 

    You will give a short speech to the club members about why you want the club position.

    When will you present? Thursday, September 12th. 

    How long should my speech be?  No longer than 1 minute. 

    What should I say? Refer to the officer duties and explain how you would be a good fit.
