My Education and Professional Background
I was educated in Oklahoma and graduated from Oklahoma State University. I began my career teaching in 5th grade in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma before moving to Florida. I worked in Citrus County, Florida teaching 2nd and 3rd grade classes for 10 years. My family relocated to Chattanooga, Tennessee where I taught 4th grade classes for three years. After relocating to Chandler in 2018, I have enjoyed my new position teaching English Language Arts at Bogle Junior High School.
My Educational Philosophy
I believe that all children are gifted with unique talents and abilities. As a teacher, I want to celebrate and amplify student strengths while helping develop the whole person.
