My goal for the 2020-2021 school year is to ensure that my 7th graders feel safe, supported and are able to grow in both the social/emotional realm as well as the academic. I want them to begin to discover their strengths and become the individuals they are meant to be.
My Education and Professional Background
I hold a BSW and a MSW for Arizona State university. I also hold a CAGS in School Guidance counseling from Ottawa University. I have worked as the school guidance counselor at Bogle Junior High for 19 years. Before working in the Chandler schools I worked in school based programs for the City of Phoenix and the City of Tempe. I also worked doing crisis work in east valley hospitals.
My Educational Philosophy
I believe that every student is capable of learning, growing and excelling with the correct supports in place.
