Welcome!

Welcome! I am very excited to have joined the Bogle Bulldog family! I have recently relocated to Chandler from Wilson, North Carolina. I have a wonderful husband, Brent, and a beautiful baby girl, Eva-Mae. I am enjoying getting to know our new community and the students and staff here at Bogle. I am excited for what the year bring in both 7th and 8th grade!

My Education and Professional Background

In 2013 I completed my Bachelor of Science in Middle Grades Education with a concentration in Math and Science from East Carolina University in Greenville, North Carolina. Before completing my degree, I was an instructional assistant for seven and a half years. After completing my degree, I taught eighth grade math, Algebra 1, Algebra 2 and Geometry at Wayne School of Engineering in Goldsboro, North Carolina.

My Educational Philosophy

I believe that all students truly have the desire to want to learn. As a teacher, I believe that is my responsibility to do everything within my power to help students foster not only an understanding of mathematical concepts but a love of math as well.
