    Hola! Soy la Sra. Henriquez. I'm excited to be teaching at Andersen JHS and looking forward to getting to know my students!

    My Education and Professional Background

    I started learning Spanish in high school and continued in college at Brigham Young University.  During college I was able to go on a study abroad to the Dominican Republic.  Since then I have traveled to Spain, Costa Rica, Puerto Rico, and Mexico.  I would love to travel more and get to know people and cultures around the world.

    I have been teaching Spanish for 19 years (in high school and online).  This is my first year here at Andersen JHS.

    My Educational Philosophy

    All students are uniquely gifted and all can learn another language. I am here to foster a love of learning, expand their minds, and be their support this year.
