    My Education and Professional Background

    I received my Bachelor of Arts in Mexican and South American History from California State University, Long Beach. My Masters of Arts in Secondary Education from the University of Phoenix, Secondary Certification. I have previously taught at Powell Junior High in Mesa, AZ, Connolly Middle School in Tempe, AZ, and ACP Middle School in Chandler, AZ.  I am excited to be at Andersen and become a Jaguar! 

    My Educational Philosophy

    I believe that every student has the right and ability to succeed. Also, I will strive to help students become passionate, independent thinkers in the social studies subject area. By modeling reading and writing practices, it is my desire to prepare students for high school and ultimately life out of school.
