    Welcome back Hawks to another great year! I have missed you, and I look forward to seeing you in my class!

    My Education and Professional Background

    I have been teaching since 2017. I graduated from the University of South Dakota with a Bachelor of Science in K-12 Physical Education with a minor in Coaching. I also studied Kinesiology, and health in wellness at USD. I have an extensive background in Track and Field, with a specialization in Pole Vaulting. I Pole vaulted for 10 years and I spent 5 of those years training under a three time Olympian.

    My Educational Philosophy

    Physical Education builds the physical, intellectual, and social-emotional development of students. It provides an additional opportunity for students to develop a variety of character traits that are essential outside of school: Cooperation, communication, sportsmanship, kindness, positive self-talk, self-esteem, responsibility, respect, and much more. As a Physical Education teacher my goal is for my students to leave my classroom with confidence to pursue an active and healthy lifestyle.
