    Welcome!

    Welcome to the fabulous fourth grade! I am so excited to be your teacher this year as we explore ancient civilizations, tangle with technology, make magic in math, and soar to new heights in science and STEM. We have lots to learn and many adventures ahead. I'm looking forward to a spectacular year with you!

    My Education and Professional Background

    I began teaching in 2006, and I've taught first, second, and fourth grades . I graduated from ASU with my degree in Elementary Education with my specialization in ESL.  In 2010, I graduated with my Master's in Curriculum and Instruction from Northern Arizona University. In addition, I have a K-12 Reading Endorsement and an English Language Learner Endorsement.

    My Educational Philosophy

    Education is a lifelong process, and my goal is to foster the love of learning in each child. Helping students gain a deeper understanding is what drives me, and I love seeing them light up when they make those connections. Doing this in a respectful, structured, caring environment allows students to have a successful year.
