    My Education and Professional Background

    I graduated from Arizona State University (go Sun Devils!) in May of 2006 with my Bachelor of Arts in Education. I have obtained endorsements in both a Structured English Immersion (SEI) and Early Childhood Education. I have been formally trained in Spalding I and II and am a Spalding Certified Teacher. This upcoming school year will be my 17th year teaching, all of them at CTA Independence. I love to learn and am always looking for new opportunities to grow.

    My Educational Philosophy

    I believe that each child is capable of greatness and my goal is to help prepare my students to achieve theirs by creating a learning environment that is fun, caring, and structured. A wonderful year of learning and growth will be the result of hard work and communication between parents, students, and myself.
