    Welcome!

    Hello!! Welcome to third grade! This will be an exciting year for all of us! There is so much to do and learn this year, and I'm excited to be a part of your educational experience! I live in Gilbert, AZ with my husband and our two daughters ages 23 and 19, one graduated from Purdue University with honors in Computer Science the other is pursuing Computer Science at Barrett Honors College at ASU.

    My Education and Professional Background

    I received my Bachelor's degree in Economics and Business from Purdue University. I worked for a few years in the business world and then moved on to receive my Post-Baccalaureate in Education with a specialization in Early Childhood. I completed my Structured English Immersion (SEI) Endorsement and am also Spalding certified. I love 3rd grade and have been teaching it since 2012.

    My Educational Philosophy

    My educational philosophy stems from the belief that each child is a unique individual who thrives in an atmosphere that provides stability in emotional, intellectual, physical and social needs. It is my goal as an educator to help students meet their fullest potential in these areas by providing an environment that is safe, supports risk-taking, and invites sharing of ideas. I value parent involvement at every level and encourage you to partner with me to give your child the most powerful and joyous learning experience possible.
