    Welcome!

    Welcome to first grade! I am so excited to be teaching your amazing kiddos this year! I am looking forward to a fantastic year full of community, learning, and fun. I live with my husband, Vince, my two wonderful girls, Avery and Perry and our fur babies, Chunk and Roxy.

    My Education and Professional Background

    I graduated with a bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education from Arizona State University in 2006. I received my master's degree in Elementary Education from Northern Arizona University in 2009. I also have two endorsements: a Reading Endorsement as well as an Early Childhood Endorsement. I am a Spalding Certified Teacher. I am a lifelong learner dedicated to education!

    My Educational Philosophy

    I believe that the ultimate goal as a teacher is to inspire, educate, and motivate students to become lifelong learners. In order to do so, I will be a positive role model for students. I will respect each and every one of my students, parents, and staff members. I will build a community where each student feels safe and willing to take risks.
