    Welcome!

    Hello and welcome to Sports Medicine 1! I have been working as an Athletic Trainer for the past seven years and this is my first year teaching. I am very excited to help guide you all along throughout our time in this class together and I hope it provides you with a greater understanding of Sports Medicine.

    My Education and Professional Background

    I graduated from Kansas State in 2015 where I earned my BS in Athletic Training and minored in Biomechanics and Kinesiology. I have worked in all sets of athletics, ranging from youth to professional level, but I have primarily worked in the high school setting starting in KS and then moving to AZ.

    I am currently working towards my MA in Healthcare Administration after taking a seven-year break from school to develop myself professionally.

    My Educational Philosophy

    Similar to how I approach treating patients, high-quality education begins only when the student knows how much you care.
