    Welcome!

    It's a pleasure to teach English at ACP. I have been teaching since 2000. In that time, I have taught English 7-11, AP English Language, Journalism, Yearbook, Speech, and Reading Skills. My goal is to create a positive learning environment, one where every learner feels important, respected, and valued. I look forward to another wonderful year!

    My Education and Professional Background

    I earned my bachelor's degree in journalism from Ohio University and a master's degree in Education from the University of Phoenix. In order to stay relevant and sharp in my practice, I continue to take classes in English and education. 

    My Educational Philosophy

    My educational philosophy is that we are all learning and growing together. Every student is capable of reaching the next goal if he/she is willing to ask questions, make mistakes, and work hard. I am here before and after school. Please come see me if you need help.
