    Welcome to 2nd grade! I am excited to have an amazing year at Sanborn!

    My Education and Professional Background

    I graduated from ASU in 2016 with a degree in Elementary Education (Go Devils!). I began my teaching journey in Mesa Public Schools as a kindergarten teacher. Afterward, I spent a year in the northern region of Spain (Basque Country) teaching English in a Basque Elementary School. I came back to the United States and taught 1st grade in the Creighton School District for a few years. I am now excited to continue my teaching career here at Sanborn.

    My Educational Philosophy

    Every child is unique and capable of success. My job as an educator is to help all students be successful, no matter the circumstances. I believe in holding high expectations for respect, and teaching students that they can persevere through any difficult problem. My classroom will always be a safe, creative, and inviting place for your child to grow into the best human and brightest student they can be.
