    Welcome!

    Hello! My name is Paul Lewkowski and I am the PE teacher at Sanborn. I am married and have three boys. I love to do anything fun and active especially hiking, biking, disc golf and pickleball.

    My Education and Professional Background

    I graduated with a bachelor's degree from Moody Bible Institute in May of 1995. I graduated from Willamette University in 2003 with a Master of Arts in Education. I began teaching Physical Education in 2003 in Woodburn, Oregon. I have been teaching Physical Education in the Chandler Unified School District at Sanborn Elementary since 2006.

    My Educational Philosophy

    I have many goals for my students but my biggest is to instill a love to move and have fun. I want to give them the tools necessary to make healthy choices for the rest of their lives. No matter what level of ability, there will always be something that they can do well. Some enjoy simple activities like walking, skating or biking while others will want more competitive sports. Either way, as long as they choose movement, they will be staying healthy.
