    Welcome!

    Hi and welcome! I could not be more excited to be a part of the Sanborn family and teaching your 4th grade student! I have known that I have wanted to be a teacher since I was very young and have chased that dream ever since! When I am not teaching, I enjoy reading, baking, and visiting my family in California. I look forward to making lifelong memories with the class while fostering an inclusive environment of learning.

    My Education and Professional Background

    I graduated from Arizona State University with my Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education and Special Education in the Spring of 2020. I have been teaching fourth grade at Sanborn Elementary ever since!

    My Educational Philosophy

    I believe that every student who walks through my door should feel loved and accepted. It is my job to push them, challenge them, and get them to where they need to be. I believe that children are lifelong learners that need to have fun and be allowed to express the best version of themselves. My goal is to create a classroom community that fosters not only academic success, but love, happiness, and safety.
