    Welcome!

    Hello! My name is Olivia Maiefski Rausch and this is my first year working at Sanborn Elementary. I am the speech language pathologist for all elementary students on the campus. I work with students who require support in the areas of communication (voice, fluency, articulation, receptive-expressive language, pragmatic language).

    My Education and Professional Background

    I graduated with my Bachelor's degree in Speech, Language, & Hearing Sciences from the University of Arizona in 2013.  I received my Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology from the University of Arizona in 2015.  Since then, I have worked at many different schools and districts within the state of Arizona.  I have supported communication for students grades preschool through high school.  Throughout that time, I have had the opportunity to work with students of many different levels of need and eligibilities.

    My Educational Philosophy

    I believe that every student should have the opportunity and ability to communicate their thoughts, wants, and needs successfully with others. I feel honored to have the ability to make a difference, whether big or small, in the lives of each student I work with.
