    Welcome!

    My name is Hannah Murillo. I was substitute with Sanborn Elementary for one semester. I am excited to be back on campus as a first year teacher! I want all students that come into my classroom to know they are welcome and capable of achieving great things.

    My Education and Professional Background

    In the Spring of 2018 I  received my  Associates of Arts degree from Walla Walla Community College. I then moved to Arizona state in 2018 to pursue my Bachelors in Education from Arizona State University. I student taught in  CUSD. I am happy to be working with CUSD as a Kindergarten teacher.

    My Educational Philosophy

    It is not just our job as a teacher to teach children but it is our job that we must make our students feel safe, seen and heard. They are our future and they are important. As every child that walks through my classroom door I want them to know they are welcome to express themselves in their learning within in a safe and uplifting environment.
