    Welcome to 1st Grade at Tarwater. I am so thrilled to be your child's teacher this year. I grew up in China and moved to Arizona in 2009. In my spare time, you can find me traveling, cooking, spending time with family and friends, and playing with my dog. I can't wait to start our adventure together!

    My Education and Professional Background

    I graduated from Arizona State University with a Bachelor's of Arts degree in Bilingual Education, and a Master's degree in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL).

    My Educational Philosophy

    I believe that a classroom should be a safe, caring community where children are free to speak their mind and blossom and grow.
