    Welcome!

    I am very excited to teach third grade in the Mandarin Immersion Program. I know our kids will enjoy this wonderful second language learning adventure. They will become Super Ambassadors between the different cultures. I will try my best to create a memorable experience for our students

    My Education and Professional Background

    I am a native Mandarin speaker from the Northeast of China. I received my Bachelor's Degree in English Education from Northeast Normal University and have had five years of teaching experience at a geology college. I earned my Master Degree in Curriculum and Teaching. I also completed the Post-Baccalaureate Teacher Education Program majoring in Special Education. I received my teaching certificates as follows: Special Education, Secondary Education with approved area in Chinese, Elementary Education, Library Media Specialist Endorsement, Math Endorsement, Early Childhood Endorsement, and Computer Science Endorsement. 

    My Educational Philosophy

    I believe the importance of education is to teach students the core of fundamental knowledge and skills, especially in the elementary level. My aspiration is to be an expert in the discipline and utilize multi-media to support students to absorb the learning content through the authentic and interactive activities and experiences.
