    Welcome!

    Welcome to 4th Grade! My name is Dale Keat. I am very excited to meet you and can't wait for the school year to start.
    This will be my second year as the teacher of record.
    I am married and have two children who also attend Tarwater. I am originally from England but have lived in several countries before making the USA our home.

    My Education and Professional Background

    I have undertaken undergraduate and graduate studies in England, where I majored in Healthcare. I subsequently worked at the Mayo Clinic in Ophthalmology for five years. 

    I have been a substitute teacher here at Tarwater as well as teacher of record last year. In addition to my healthcare degree, I have also completed graduate studies in Elementary Education. 

    My Educational Philosophy

    It is my goal to create a safe and welcoming learning environment that promotes positivity, self-confidence, and respect. I believe that all students have great potential, and it is my job to help them live up to this potential by encouraging and supporting them along their educational journey. I am dedicated to fostering relationships with my students that will help them to become the best they can be in order to succeed, not only in the classroom but in all aspects of their lives.
