    Welcome!

    Welcome to 5th grade! I am so excited to be part of the Riggs family. I am a product of the Chandler District and am thrilled to represent such a great district. This site has helpful resources and links to support my students at home. I know this is going to be an amazing year together. I am excited to share my love of teaching and learning with you.

    My Education and Professional Background

    I graduated from Arizona State University with a degree in Elementary Education and I have a master's degree from Northern Arizona University in Curriculum and Instruction. I have had the opportunity to teach 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 6th grade at Hull Elementary. Teaching different grade levels has helped me understand the significance and impact each grade's curriculum has on the others.

    My Educational Philosophy

    I believe that students learn best in an environment that has routine, positive interactions and encourages critical thinking. I follow my instruction closely with the Love and Logic approach.
