    Welcome to an amazing new year at Riggs Elementary! This year will be full of knowledgeable lessons, incredible experiments and projects, and of course, all around priceless learning! Our goal this year is to have fun and show our classroom successes throughout our year!

    My Education and Professional Background

    In 2004, I earned my Bachelor's in Elementary Education from the GREATEST college ~ Arizona State ~ GO DEVILS! In 2010, I received my Masters from Northern Arizona University in Curriculum and Instruction. I love learning and I hope that my passion for teaching will help motivate my students to be lifelong learners.

    My Educational Philosophy

    I believe in creating a positive learning environment where students are willing to take chances, feel loved, valued and confident in their abilities. I strive to create a positive and strong relationship with each of my students and their families as we work together and become a team to ensure success for every child. I look forward to getting to know each of my students and their families.
