    Welcome!

    Welcome to Preschool! My name is Kristin Grimm, and I am so excited to be your child’s preschool teacher this year. I am looking forward to working with you and your child to ensure that they have the most positive and productive school year.

    My Education and Professional Background

    I was born and raised in Morris Township, New Jersey. I attended the University of Massachusetts and graduated in May 2009 with my BA in Psychology. Upon moving to Arizona, I attended Arizona State University and graduated in December 2010. I obtained my Master’s Degree in Special Education, Elementary Education and Special Education certifications, along with a full SEI endorsement and an Early Childhood endorsement. I was a kindergarten teacher and special education teacher in CUSD for seven years prior to the births of my children. This will be my first year teaching at Riggs and I am so excited to join the amazing community. My husband, David, and I have two children that attend Riggs. 

    My Educational Philosophy

    As a parent, you play a vital role in the education of your child. I plan on working closely with you to enable your child to reach his or her full potential. I believe that if we all collaborate, we will have a successful and rewarding year. I am so grateful for the opportunity to be a part of your child’s life.
