  • How do I reserve STEM resources?

Reserve all STEM resources via Google Forms.  The link is at http://rb.gy/9dcxzy.  Every resource bin including the microscopes have a QR code on them, which will take you to the site also.  IMPORTANT:  please complete form on check out AND check in!

The lesson bins are against the north wall, under the long table.  The microscopes are stored on top of the table.  Please return items where you found them!

  • What if the Lesson Bins are missing items?

    Posted by:

Note that some bins require additional materials to be provided by teachers/volunteers.  Assuming the question refers to included items, please report missing items to the Office Manager and/or the Tech Teacher, who can facilitate replenishing supplies.

Please also let them know if you exhaust supplies during your use of the lesson!  (There is a place on the checkin form to do so.)

If you know who the previous borrower was, check with them.  It is possible they missed something when repacking.  Notify the Tech Teacher if items cannot be found.

  • How can I display the microscope screen to the class?

    Posted by:

Pages 25-27 of the User's Manual detail the steps, but it is pretty easy.

    1. Connect the microscope screen to your classroom PC's USB port

    2. Select DOWN (V) and OK on the microscope to put it in camera mode

    3. Start the webcam app on your PC, probably XSight HD on your desktop.  This will display the microscope view to your PC.

    4. Turn on the overhead projector to display your PC screen.
