“Be curious, take risks, but most importantly, keep your imagination loaded and ready to play”.
John Janezic
Welcome to the Sanborn Media Center! Here at Sanborn, we truly believe that our library is the heart of the school. We encourage our students to check out a variety of books that meet their interests and reading levels. During library, students receive grade-appropriate lessons on information literacy and district library standards as well as checking out books! We have over 14,000 different titles and over 25,000 books in circulation. We also have a parent resource center, so come down and check out some books today!
Check-out Policies:
Kindergarten and 1st grade: 1 book
2nd-6th grade: 2 books
Students with overdue books will not be able to check out new material until the overdue book is returned. If a book is lost or damaged, it will need to be paid for before regular check-out can resume.
Books may be paid for using InTouch through Infinite Campus. This is the same way field trip fees are paid.
Library Schedule:
Kindergarten through 6th-grade students visit the library once every 6 days during the specials rotation schedule.
Library Volunteers: We would love your help shelving and organizing books in our library. You can set your own hours and come and go when it is convenient for you. We provide free training as well! We are thankful for your help. Please email Mr. Janezic for more information or to set up a schedule. janezic.john@cusd80.com
