About
Agostini...
Welcome to fourth grade! My name is Kim Agostini. I have two boys at home. My oldest son is Tyler and my youngest is Greyson. My husband, Nate, is a high school Athletic Director. I love doing fun things with my family such as hiking, visiting the beach, and traveling. I love to read anything!!
My Education and Professional Background
I have been teaching since 2000. I started teaching in Chandler in 2004. I received by Bachelor's Degree from Central Michigan University and my Master's Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Northern Arizona University.
My Educational Philosophy
In the classroom I try to encourage students to challenge themselves. This can make school fun and exciting! I like to connect academics to real-life learning as often as possible. We also focus on building a positive classroom community. We learn about the character traits of belonging, kindness, compassion, perseverance, and solving conflicts. We have classroom meetings where we try to problem solve any issues we are having in our classroom.
